Developed as the perfect complement to Formula 44 Ointment, this dual-phase spray combines trusted antibacterial and antifungal support with lighter moisturizing coverage ideal for larger or hard-to-reach areas.

Formulated with chlorhexidine — the same antimicrobial ingredient used in Formula 44 Ointment — the spray is balanced with a lighter oil phase that helps moisturize while allowing for quick, even application. The proprietary formula also helps support the regrowth of healthy tissue while soothing irritated skin and coat areas.

Its sprayable consistency makes it especially useful for treating larger body areas, skin beneath blankets, thick fetlocks and feathers, pony beards, fluffy manes and tails, and other heavily coated areas where traditional ointments may be more difficult to apply.

Formula 44 Spray is ideal for managing common equine skin concerns including rain rot, mud fever, pastern crud, scratches, fungus, funky feathers, and itchy manes and tails.
